This kit is definitely not for first timers and the online resources included in the instructions just plain suck since you have to be a dealer in order to access the info. I found a site at the12voltdotcom that has links to wiring diagrams and had one for my 2006 RAV4 that will prove to be a great help. I'm not affiliated with the site and I can't say what they'll have for your car but after doing some digging for resources online I thought this was a good find. I thought I would share it to help others frustrated by the technically correct but nearly useless instructions provided with this unit. I installed a system from bulldog security that my friend bought and the instructions and web resources were better but it still took 2.5 hrs so as one reviewer stated do some research before buying any of these units b/c this may be too much for novices.
